Back in Killarney in 2019, as part of two Ceilí team dancing for The McGrath School of Irish Dance in Newcastle, Anna qualified for the World Irish Dance Championships which was due to take place in April 2020 in Dublin. Then Covid hit and all of her competitions and dancing were cancelled.
On the 10th of April 2022, they headed off to Belfast for the 50th World Championships. Anna danced on two Ceilí teams; U13’s and U16’s. We came home with world medals coming 9th and 15th place in the World 🌎
It was such a fun experience, Anna loves Irish dancing and is so happy to have two world Irish dancing medals.
