We had such a fabulous and fun trip to Down Syndrome Tipperary today with pupils and staff from First Class. When the kids arrived they were greeted by familiar faces Anne-marie and Marie and got to dance the red carpet and show off their odd socks. The boys and girls loved learning Lámh signs with Eimear and Suzanne and sang along with signs to Miley Cyrus's Flowers, I think they especially enjoyed watching staff and parents dance and sing along too. After all the singing and dancing they were delighted to be treated to cakes and bun in the kitchen and got to enjoy the outdoors play area and facilities. A huge thank you to Suzanne and Eimear, to the parents and volunteers who helped out and for the lovely welcome we received.
