Two teams from fifth and sixth classes travelled the short distance to Newcastle to take part in the Deirdre O’Ryan Memorial Blitz. We played some fantastic sides with thrilling games of football as a result.
Our girls fought to the very end and found themselves in the plate final, narrowly missing out to Grangemockler.
Our boys also finished the day in the plate final, and after a super second half came out victorious over Grangemockler!
Huge well done to all the boys and girls and a special thank you to Mr O Sullivan who was on the sideline with the boys for the day!
